It’s been around 20 years since the last film screened in Câmpulung Moldovenesc, my hometown from Romania. The last one I remember seeing there is The English Patient. 

Story in short: 

Info #1: The older I get the more I love my hometown. 

Info #2: I have friends in high places, like the Danish National Filmschool from Copenhagen, Denmark and the National Institute of Design from Ahmedabad, India. All talented, interesting filmmakers. Best way to keep in contact was to honour their work. 

Conclusion: Organise a yearly party. Call it Câmpulung Film Fest.
